Toowoomba Regional Council will host a United States political delegation later this month from Sunday, September 21 to Tuesday, September 23.
The Australian Political Exchange Council is hosting the 25th delegation from the United States with other visits planned for Sydney, Canberra and Brisbane. Delegates from the Democrats and Republican parties will study Australia’s three tiers of government and relevant economic and social issues.
Meetings with Toowoomba Regional Council will examine the workings of local government and interaction with the other levels of government. The American party will inspect council facilities including the Sustainable House project.
